“White light, White light goin’ messin’ up my mind
White light, and don’t you know its gonna make me go blind
White heat, aww white heat it tickle me down to my toes
White light, Ooo have mercy white light have it goodness knows”
Nothing much to say on this one. Just a good quality S copy with mojo to spare. The patina on this one is just perfect. *Chef’s Kiss* This one was certainly made in Japan or Korea, as it shares some similarities with other MIJ and MIK S-styles of the era I have seen in my career.
The body is made of pine, I believe. The neck is 2 pc maple with a rosewood fretboard and the lawsuit headstock. It doesn’t have any markings, but it looks a lot like many of the Memphis, Cort and Matsumoku make lawsuit copies I have had in the past. There is only mild to-be-expected scratches and dings in the neck, but nothing structural. .
Like more 1970s and / or lawsuit era stuff, this guitar is not light. This one is not a complete boat anchor, but not what I would call lightweight. In all honestly it is a KILLER guitar. Vintage quality in a pretty cheap package.
As always, I replaced the strings, polished it up, flushed the electronics and set the action as low as possible. This guitar comes with no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package with full insurance.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
