Here for sale is a hand-painted dulcimer windchime & harp. Originally, it have four wooden hammers that would sway in the breeze and hit the strings, but could also be used as a plucked instrument, with the four strings tuned to what ever made sense to the player. Unfortunately, two of the wind hammers are lost to time, but they would be easy to replicate, it is just a wooden plug dowel hanging from a piece of thread.
It was made in the Appalachian / Smokey mountains in east Tennessee somewhere in the early to mid 20th century. Artist signed with the name “Fish.” Perfect as décor or as a playable instrument!
