Intermediate Violin w/ High Quality Tonewoods (circa-1990s Antique Varnish)

1 in stock

Here for sale is a violin w/ case and accessories.

As you might notice, my store is called “Jack’s Guitarcheology” and not “Jack’s Violincheology,” mainly because it doesn’t make any sense, but also because I am WAY out of my wheel house on this one. I know next to nothing about orchestral instruments. (I was a band kid, French Horn to be exact.) A dear friend of mine is moving to Hawaii and I need to help him unload his massive collection of musical instruments, so I am consigning this one.

What I can tell about this violin based on my guitar tech and luthiery experience is that this violin is not the bottom floor model, but it is not the top of the line either. Just a good, solid intermediate violin.

The top is real spruce. The back, sides and neck are a stunning flamed maple. I went to the violinist subreddit for advice, they were able to give me a general idea, but no specifics. They confirmed my suspicions this is not, as one Redditor put it, a “run of the mill factory junker.”

It has a nice case and a shoulder rest. Comes with a Golden Dream bridge.

Solid violin at a solid price. I am consigning this for a friend, and like all my consignments, this item is being sold “as described” regardless of condition. Absolutely no returns. (See my shop policies for more information.)
