I am not sure what else to say about this thing other than WOW.
This thing is incredibly well-crafted. It has everything you would want from a quality MM make. It is all there. Really just the whole package, you can feel it when you put it in to your hands, it does not feel cheap at all — on par with some MMs I have played.
I was trying to get help placing it from a friend of mine who is up on the Asian guitar market, and he said that these are made in Vietnam for the Korean and other Asian markets. Everything I can find on line seems to point to that being the case. Not a whole lot out there on them, actually, but they make astounding guitars — I have recently been preaching the gospel of IYV to anyone who will listen. Every one I have put my hands on has been incredible.
This one is loosely a clone of a Music Man and sports two MM style humbuckers and a heavy mass bridge. The humbuckers provide quite a bit of thump and are quiet — pickups sound great!
It has an alder body with a maple neck a ebony fretboard. The frets are nice and large modern style. This would be a great bass for gigs so you can leave your expensive one at home. Fantastic quality.
As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action as low as I could.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
