Kingston “2002 Nostalgia” MIK Stratocaster, signed by Preston Nash (1980s, Sticker Bomb)

For sale here is a Kingston Strat style electric guitar, made in Korea in the 1980s after they moved production from Japan.

This thing is just dripping in nostalgia if you are a late 80s/early 90s kid like me. All of the stickers are like a time capsule from a Millennial’s pre-teen years. Some of my favorites are:

• “Godsmack”
• “Nsync”
• “Parental Advisory: Explicit Noise (DOD)”
• Various “Little Aliens,” “Sugar and Spice” and other stickers you would get from a pizzeria vending machine in 2002
• “Get over it, you lost” with a crossed out rebel flag
• “Playboy Bunny”
• “Full Devil Jacket”
• “Don’t Listen”
• “Maybe you’ve been brainwashed too”
• “Limp Bizkit”
• AND MORE!

This thing is RADICAL! It is additionally signed by Preston Nash of Dope, Primer 55 and Society 1. Anyway you slice it, this thing is pure, distilled early 2000s nostalgia.

The pups have a really classic strat tone. This guitar plays and sounds great too, but mostly, it will make you feel 12 again.

As always, I cleaned it up, cleaned up the stickers, oiled the board, changed the strings, cleaned the electronic components and set the action as low as I could. Comes with no case or gig bag, but I pack my stuff tight and insure every package.
