Washburn Pro “Zen Gumby” Strat Partscaster Electric Guitar (1990s, Green)

Nothing much to say on this one. Just a good quality Stratocaster copy. The neck plate says Washburn Pro, but I am not finding another with this headstock shape, unless the neck is a replacement someone added when they did the green refinish. I am not sure. It could just be they had a Washburn neck plate.

The body is made of Basswood, and the neck is 2 pc maple / rosewood with a painted headstock/neck and some really cool looking figuring on the fretboard face. If you are looking for a cheap back up guitar and a good conversation starter, this is it! Imagine the fun conversations you can have:

Friend or Family Member: “What do those symbols mean?” 

You: “I have no Earthly idea.” 

Friend or Family Member: “Cool, well, seeya.”

As always, I replaced the strings, polished it up, flushed the electronics and set the action as low as possible. This guitar comes with no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package with Reverb Shipping Protection.
